Data Controller
The data controller for this website is the organiser of the Open Stage events. For any data protection enquiries, please contact the organiser by email.
Data We Collect
During registration, we collect only the data required to organise the event:
- Name / artist name and lineup size
- Email address (for confirmation and editing link)
- Short description of the act and setlist
- Equipment requirements
- Optional details: online links, preferred time, additional notes
- Timestamp and version of your privacy consent
Purpose of Processing
Your data is used solely to organise and run the Open Stage event:
- Scheduling and setlist coordination
- Sending a registration confirmation by email
- Providing an editing link to manage your registration
- Publishing your artist name on social media – only with your explicit consent
Legal Basis
Processing is based on your voluntary consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time by cancelling your registration via the editing link.
Retention & Deletion
Your registration data will be deleted no later than 90 days after the respective event date. Cancelled registrations are deleted after 30 days. You may delete your registration at any time via the magic link sent to you by email.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your stored personal data. To exercise your rights, please contact the organiser. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Data Security
This website uses industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls for administrative functions.
Disclosure of Setlist to GEMA
As an event organiser, we are legally required to report performed works to GEMA (Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte – the German performing rights society). The setlist submitted as part of your registration will be forwarded to GEMA for this purpose. The legal basis for this disclosure is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (compliance with a legal obligation).

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy. The current version is published on this page. With every registration, the version of the policy you consented to is recorded.
